Tim and Cheryl,

What a fantastic time Lori, her sister (Marianne) and her friend (Jeri) and I had this past weekend. You guys are the best at doing this 928 thing. I cannot thank the both of you enough for your extended hospitallity. Always great to see everyone and to meet the new members of SATL. Great times...remembered forever!

Balancing on the rollcage door bar requires this odd position. Make sure the window is down too.

You quickly learn about how auto design involves compromises when you put door bars in a car Something once so simple ...

Thank you Tim, Cheryl and all your helpers, you did an outstanding job as usual. From the friendly greeting on friday, the delicious food and wine at the host reception, impromtu entertainment of the racoon, to the fun drive, dinner, gifts, wine from East Australia; ending with the Tri Tip BBQ at your home.

Great pics, guys! Here are a few more:

1) Pre-Fundrive meeting Saturday
2) Quick snap over the shoulder
3) Only view I could manage of "The Beast" in motion
4) "The Beast" goes "brain-dead", Stan to the rescue...
5) A photo-op-stop on Sunday
6) The view from the lookout above Emerald Bay

Sorry, I was too busy trying to avoid it to reach for the camera.

You mean 'falling rock' or 'fallen rock', my Native American cousins? Boulder is a bit east and somewhat south of Reno, IIRC. That place rocks!

Yeah, Nicole's floor is worse than I originally thought. We got a better look at it from underneath once we got back home. It's going to take some careful massaging to reshape the floor and some patient low-temp welding to prevent distortion.

Bummer... A good shop will know how to best approach it, but my guess is they will use a TIG. Nicole, does your insurance cover this sort of thing?
