Hi Norcal928 Folks:
Tomorrow's the day we ride down to Laguna Seca for the SCAA races featuring a field including SIX 928s. Here's the details again. Hope to see a bunch of you early in the am at Starbuck's on Bernal!
A chance to see six 928s on the track. Mark Anderson and Joe Fan from Socal will be bringing their stroked 928s to run with Norcal locals Mark Kibort and Scott Graham. Chuck Briggs and Ken Osage will be joining in, coming down from the Pacific Northwest.
The races are FREE to spectators, although there might be a nominal per car parking charge.
If you are interested in watching our racing buddies terrorizing the other competitors, we will be gathering at 8:00am (departing at 8:30am - first race is at 10am) at:
Starbucks Coffee
125 Bernal Rd., #20
San Jose, CA 95119
Bernal is west off 101 just south of the 85 junction.
Here's a Google map of the meeting location:
http://www.google.com/maps?hl=en&out...&cd=1&resnum=1
From there we will wind through backcountry to the Laguna Seca track.
REMEMBER - GAS UP JUST BEFORE YOU GET THERE!
For those of you who have Sunday free, there will be a 4 hour enduro race in which several of our 928 drivers will participate. I won't be able to make that day, but anyone who can, should.

Although the ride is only 50 miles or so, I nearly ran out of gas one time. I didn't check my gauge before we left and I was basically empty.

George: Take the family van to Bernal and you can ride with me the rest of the way.
Jeez, if Charley doesn't make it for some reason, it's not going to be much of a crowd!
Anyway, I'll wait until 8:30. Be there or be square.
