Well, SITM officially got under way today. The weather did not cooperate however. There was little rain, but visibility averaged about 1/4 mile, and it was about 50 degrees F/ 10 C. Not bad if you thought to bring a coat...which I didn't. I don't have much "thermal insulation", so I wound up freezing my *** off in my shirt-sleeves while looking like a drowned rat~
Well, after the meet at Grandfather Mountain, we lined up the cars and drove the 30 miles down the Blue Ridge Parkway in the fog and wetness. Halfway there, someone-who-will-remain-nameless-to-protect-the-innocent blew an oil line, and everyone pulled over, thinking "What the hell is going on?". I half expected someone to come walking out of the woods zipping their fly-
Well, we waited there for a few minutes...and then this girl decided to test the roof strength by taking a picture. Bet she got a good shot!
Excellent photos. The girl on the roof is killing me though. Tonight I lent my baby to the kid next door for his senior prom, and right now I'm hurtin bad. Its 10 O'Clock and I don't know where my Porsche is.... Oh well. I'm sure it will be a hit, and reasonably sure he'll bring her back unscathed. Hope you SITM guys are having a ball.

Every time I see a group of 928s together, it makes me ache for an S4! Oh well.. I'll just have to live with my 86.5 until I'm un-poor.... which will be in about 6 years when I get all the college I want done! Damn! Not to mention student loans by then....

Yeah, yeah. Dennis called me Saturday morning to tell me about the fun. Now you guys can vouch for the fact that his car is in FANTASTIC shape! We need a gremlin that expresses jealousy!
I suppose the thread will go down hill from here
