Default FOR SALE 1989 S4 5-speed

$2000. Black. Paint is excellent. Clear title. Bare body for a racecar project or upgrade to 5-speed or S4. I have additional items I will sell separately, but this auction is for the straight body, fenders, doors, hatch with glass, hood. Nothing else.

Too bad it's a 5-speed body. If it were an automatic I might be interested.

There are important differences between 5-speed and automatic bodies. A 5spd body has the clutch firewall and an auto body does not. To make an auto a 5spd you need to cut that piece out of a 5spd and weld it in. IIRC the rear transmission hump is smaller in a 5spd too.

I know - I was just amused that that you were advertising it as a 5-speed when it doesn't include the transmission. No offense intended.

I'm not sure if this is true for the later body styles?..Can anyone verify?...I do remember that being true on the OB's...(thats 78/79 CIS cars)...

Why don’t ya just sit back for a while and gaze at that sweet GTS of yours.

That should but a smile on your face.

It's a 5-speed factory 928S4. If it were an auto body I'd have to post that information also, because an auto body cannot hold a 5-speed transmission.

Not only that, but it has a clear title for a 5-speed 928 S4.

How much for just the firewall?

(C'mon H, you knew THAT one was coming )
