On my '88 ( no limited slip) I never had wheel hop with old worn out shocks or new Bilsteins.

I have bad wheel hop on the '91 GT. I even adjusted the Koni shocks to full hard with no effect.

Do any of the cars with no limited slip have wheel hop?

The addition of another 200 hp seems to have cured any wheel hop I had.....tires just spin like they were made out of butter.....................I am very careful on wet roads......break the tires loose....hit the revlimiter PDQ...........

Gretch,

Did you have wheel hop before the SC? If so, yet another reason to get a SC. I have some wheel hop now, but it is better since I put onthe bilstein/eibach coilovers.

BTW, started the Murf SC install Sunday night. Wheel hop be gone!!!!!!!!

No LSD on either of my cars and no wheel hop with old or new shocks.

Since going to 17's on the 5spd S4 I get wheel hop on breaking them loose. I also have much less grip. Pressure is 32 or 33 all-round.

With 16 Design 90's I had zero hop and was much happier with the roadholding in general.

On my auto '85 I get no hop, despite breaking loose often. 85 has no LSD, 875spd has LSD.

Jim, I've got 235/45 on the front and on the rear 255/40 I believe.

I have had it occur on wet pavement, but I do not recall it occuring on dry pavement.......My guess it that the SC has made me more cautious with the throttle when driving in less than ideal conditions.....Like I said, with that many ponies, induced wheelspin on wet pavement results in hitting the rev limiter almost immediately.....

I've always felt that the 928 is less tricky in the wet or low traction times then other cars, say, Z-28s, Mustangs, Chevy Vans The momentum seems to not happen so....quickly to the side.

I get wheel hop on wet, none on dry - just lots of smoke. It seems to redline very fast once you start spinning and the smoke plume is huge.

Used to have 245's on back, now 275's - not much difference to above.

I usually get wheel hop on the '90 GT with PSD, relatively new Konis and 17s, wet or dry.

I do get some wheel hop with the 17's, mostly on wet pavement. My shocks are probably shot and I should probably lower the air pressure in the back. Winter project - Eibach/Bilsteins (along with a few others).
