Default SITM Great trip, Great people, Great Cars

Hi everyone . Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed SITM with Ed this year. What a great group of people and cars. It was nice to meet the people that Ed is always talking about. We had a great ride up with Mel and Pam. Sure was good seeing the Florida guys again, and by the way I am headed to Florida the week of the 18th. It was good to hang out with George and Doreen, I want to come visit some time soon. Saturday was interesting and enjoyable. I had no idea there were so many variations in 928's. 20 states and Canada were there, I have the pictures of the tags to prove it. (hope to do something with them soon) Special Thanks!! to Dave and Jeannie for hosting such a great event. I look forward to next year's reunion.
It was great to meet Kim (Risky Biz) and we look forward to seeing her in Indy F1 races next week.

Thankfully, Ed didn't buy the super charger yet, but he got the prototype for the new intakes and he promises to have pictures and dyno numbers soon.

Special thanks to Constantine for accompanying us home. We enjoyed the trip and the visit.

The only mishap was the Silver 928 went through another torque tube. Ed will get to try Constantine's clamp when he replaces the torquue tube/bearings.

Thanks again!
Ed's other half, Sherri

I didn't catch the ID badge but is this what we're talking about?

One freshly installed dual cone 928 Specialist Intake.
Glad I was there to witness it.

Nothing like getting Christmas presents on the Meadow.

I just checked with James, and he says he didn't take any of the stuff and doesn't know who did.

Well I think its safe to assume that no-one would steal the shrine. And no-one who is 928/Rennlist savvy would throw it away. Who cleaned up the meadow area that may not have realized that that pile of broken parts was important?

I think we need to send someone down to that gas station to interogate that young lady. I think she may be hiding something.

Jim,

Since I am the closest to her I guess I will have to take one for the team and go do it myself. ..

Oh I certainly wasn't implying anyone would steal anything, especially the young lad. Only that perhaps since he might have been around it, that maybe he saw someone packing it up or unfortunately mistaking the broken parts for trash perhaps.

While we were looking at the shrine that Sat. when I took the pic, Andrew did say that the shrine was becoming too small for all of items being added. As though perhaps this could be the traveling shrine with a more appropriate larger version being needed. Guess that plans could be drawn up by those here with architectural & engineering backgrounds to make a newer, larger, shrine come to reality.

One other person who was set up right next to the shrine that might have seen something was the gent with the RH wheel display. Very nice guy with some great looking wheels too! Never know, might be worth asking him.......

I can see it now. . . Andrew gets a series of postcards from the shrine from all different locations across the country.

I always thought the headlight bucket would make for an interesting 70's era modernistic styled 928 shrine.

Now who was going to shake down that gas station hottie?
