Ok, I'll start things off. I'm at the hotel. Texas group with a few others went to eat down the road. Spoken to various others coming in from all directions who are on their way. About a dozen of us drove the Dragon this morning, then on here to Banner Elk.

Andrew made it to Alcoa, alas he had his crank pulley shread as he was leaving home to drive down, so he is a co-pilot for the weekend! There were 16 cars last night at Alcoa. Rainy here in Banner Elk, which will suck for the weekend. Will try to upload a pic or three if I can before I head out to find someone to tip back a LandShark with!

Don't want to double post, but check out my thread - "Blue Ridge Parkway...", and a vid (not much!) at
http://rennpository.com/test/view_vi...66c225f7883bdc
for a look (and listen) at the group. For me, a new Rennlister and 928 owner, it was a great morning!

Mike Vance's "short hose" to the heater valve blew on the way to Banner Elk and the expert pit crew had us back on the road in short order.

For those of you that do the dragon, I went searching for one of the photo websites (Deals Gap). Take a look if you make it to their list.

Ben,

Thanks for the pics-- my trial settled out *yesterday* so I am now free this weekend. Geesh. Nothing like waiting till the last minute to turn a Class C felony (ten years and lifetime parole) into a simple misdemeanor. My weekend's mine, but we're going to put outdoor carpet on the deck instead of driving to the Smoketree.

Keep posting-- it's like being there! I'm going to shine up the S4 here and think of the mile high bridge, the blur ridge park way, and washing up the sharks across from the Best Western.

Drive safely!

David, i met the new owner of your Moss Green 928! His name escapes me- i have met so many people again this year it's hard to keep track of names. Anyway he says he is waiting to here from you about buying it back from him, apparently you've expressed an interest? What are you waiting for? Write the check!

Ben! That's just cruel to joke like that. There must have been a miscommunication because I haven't seen his message. Ask him to PM me, if you get the chance. I thought he just figured I was stalking him so I didn't follow up with another email. I figured he was very happy with the moosgrun. I love that car, ahem, I mean, oh, yeah, well, I could take it or leave it, you know, cool as a cucumber . . . AAAAUGH! Tell him to PM me! I'm interested.

Moosgrun. Moosgrun. Moosgrun.

David, i don't think it's a case of not being happy with the car, i think it was described as having too many and not enough time to drive them all. He did say that after you didn't reply to his email he was having second thoughts about selling it.
