Nicole, what could be more important than this amazing event? Family? Bring 'em! I was thinking of bringing one of my nieces along for the Saturday drive, but it would be too much of a PITA to go pick her up in Grass Valley, then get her back by 4pm.

Yes, I have cancelled the event and rooms at the Biltmore, however if I were you I would personally call and cancel your individual room. Even if they tell you the event is cancelled make sure your room is cancelled. Wouldn't hurt to get the name of the person you are speaking to. The Biltmore & I are not on great terms and I don't want anyone to get stuck with a room.

 

I can't imagine what the hot topic will be at the cocktail party...

Someone suggestted we try a direct video lilnk from the German 928 Anniversary Party - but that would be a logistic challenge with the time zone difference etc.

For me it will be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the designers and engineers of the 928 before they get too old and start to die off... And a chance to connect with more German 928 owners as an added bonus.

I have to go to Germany anyway this summer, so this will combine everything nicely. Still, it is not 100% sure, yet, that I can go in June. If not Germany, then DEFINITELY SATL - I promise!

SATL is still my favorite 928-Event, and I recommend it to anyone who considers to go!
