Tim
Is the fuel cell under the carpet? Did they route it to the stock filler? Or do you move the carpet to fill it up? Of course being the freak I am I would worry about spilling gas on the carpet?

The cell is boxed in under the carpet. The carpet snaps out so don't worry about spillage.

We will see everyone at Sharks at the Lake 2007. Get your checks in by the end of the week everyone..

This is the private parking area just for us.

Corvettes don't bother me. I only brake for Crown Victorias...

I'll be there. I'm bringing some spa and aromatherapy goodies to share, too!

I can't decide whether to bring the 84 supercharged or the 89 S4 - both 5 spds; my buddy is coming up with me but that would mean twice he gas - the superchared car is almost completed - and has been to Willow Springs Inernational Raceway 4x - any preference on which car to bring?

It's none of my business, but I'd bring the one that's more reliable and more comfortable to travel in.

Surely you jest - their both reliable and comfortable - their 928's - the 89 5spd just got back from Las Vegas where, enroute, a photo was taken of the speedo needle that somehow got up to 160; th e84 5spd supercharged, just got back from Willow Springs - unfortunately, there is no working speedo because the GT transmission was incompatible with the 84 speedo sensors (we're working on a work-around) - the 84 has GTS suspension and brakes, the 89 is stock - both comfortable (although the 84 is a bit stiffer) - the 84 uses 928 Motorsports supercharger kit and assembly - I've shown it off at Sharktoctober fest in OC, but would be willing to bring it to Tahoe if participants were interested - either one would work, but with premium gas out of city well over $4.00/gal, I'm only going to bring one. Still can't decide which one....

I would vote for the supercharged one. More opportunity to pop the hood and discuss/show-off, etc!

Hi Everybody!!

I have given the Cal Neva Resort and Spa my initial count for all of you who have sent in checks. I have asked for an additional 10 seats at dinner if we need them and they agreed. So If you are on the fence about attending please do so now to avoid disapointment. The room block and rates will be gone on the 29th of this month so call the hotel now.

This will be the biggest Sharks at the Lake in our history. We will not let the #'s of cars affect the quality of the event or the drives. We will have 3 cars that know the exact route and we will space these folks at appropiate intervals so you will arrive at all the destinations on time without getting lost. (Thanks Richard S and Cheryl).

When you arrive at the hotel please park in the U shaped driveway in front of the main casino entrance at a 45 degree angle, all of the cars will fit. This drive is for our exclusive use. The hotel wants all of its guests to see the cars. If you would like to write a little history of your car please do so and put it it the windshield, it would be informative for the guests that aren't as familiar with 928's as we are.

We can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

See you soon

Tim,

As I am sure you have seen, a form is handed out at Sharktoberfest that can be filled out with information on your car put on the dash or under the windshield. Maybe something like that can be created for this event? I would be happy to help out in printing something like this up for the event since I know you are quite busy. I expect to arrive in Tahoe in the early afternoon on Friday the 15th.
