We are a little bit out of the way but if the folks from Oregon want to stop by, sure thing. Sara just thought that if any of you Socal 928ers needed a pit stop before that final 3hr. climb and we were still home you guys could stop in for a snack or water or potty break .We do not have enough room to hijack that party,besides,then we would still have to drive 3hrs to Tahoe .See everybody at the lake.
Tim: We will be bringing a couple of new & improved Stockton Sharks Society T-shirts for raffle prizes.

Just kidding about the hijack Gerry . Seriously, if we were heading up I-5 we'd drop by. 395 is a shorter and much more scenic route to Tahoe. See you and Sara there!

Well I may not have a job on Monday, but i'm there!! MAN I CAN'T WAIT!! I'll be headin' up the 99 early Friday morning, just in case anyone ELSE has to take the most boring route possible. Just look for the big red dodge mega cab with the OB in tow, that'll be me.

I've stayed at the Shilo Inn at K Falls. It's at the college turn off if you are coming down 97 from North. It's ok. Nothing special. I also stayed at a nice one in downtown area. I cannot remember the name right now. It was at the interesection of two main streets. There are not many four lane streets in town so should be not too hard to find. I'd recommend that one.

We'll probably go South on 97 and turn off at LaPine toward Paisley and Lakeview. Maybe stay in Lakeview since there is nothing within a hundred miles. Too many eager cops on 97 to stay on it all the way if you don't have to.

 

Second coat of Rejex went on today -- just need to put the belly pan back on & I'm all set for SATL.

 

Changed the oil last weekend, cleaned inside and out this weekend, looking forward to next weekend.

 

OK, the countdown begins for SATL. The wash station at the Hotel will open around 2pm so the road grime can come off before you display your car in the vallet area. The meet and greet starts at 4 pm on the pool patio (drinks and light snacks) and goes until 6 pm when the reception starts and the hor'dourves come out.

Everyone drive safely and be prepared to have a great time.

 

Can't wait! This week is gonna drag along... Hope to have our little caravan there by around 3:00 pm. See you all there!
