Why not - they make them for most everything else.
I was tempted to buy them but had second thoughts.
Rather have Mahl for a cheaper price.

These Purolator filters were available as 'the filter' some time before Mahle got into the packaging game: a top grade filter - still have several on hand .... along with Mahle

I suppose cutting one open would be a useful endeavor .... if one had an idea of filtration technology and a meaningful basis of comparison to alternate products. For other reasons, I've opened in service filters of both brands as part of 'closing the loop' behind other issues - they both have a high pleat count, check valve arrangment, etc = top end haute de gamme filters.

Rog, if you're bidding, best of luck!
I can be magnanimous from this position as a non bidder ..... only because the s.o.b. will not accept bids out of country ... how provincial!!

Cut it open for the standard reason, paper or plastic, synthetic filters are better than paper aren't they?

Then pleat count, surface area, check valve type and materials, how the seams and sealed, all that stuff.

Not to change the subject, did you ever find a front belly pan for me?

Plus cutting one open after its been used should be more revealing.
