This will work with stock or stroked crank, correct?

If needed, I can probably check stroker measurements since have both crank and block(s) on hand for now.

Probably not your market, but if its possible to make this streetable (discreet mounting of holding tank and A/C is retained) I'd definitely be interested.

Would it be possible to get inside shots of the pan? Is there any design work done to the interior of the pan to control windage? It's looks like you've addressed potential pressure-loss problems in high G turns, but it looks like there is still enough volume in the pan that additional windage control will be needed?
Adam,
Mount the oil tank where the huge 3 year supply windshield washer tank is. Use the smaller "Intensive" washer tank for regular windshield washer fluid. You could also mount a tank behind the winshield washer tank if using that for an intercooler reservoir, or on the other side near the cruise control actuator. Put a cap like my fuel filler in the top of the fender for oil fill/check.

Give the circulating oil time for the air to get out. The scavenge pump sucks up a lot of air/blowby with the oil. That has to get out of the oil before it is pumped back into the engine.

Thanks Louie, seems like that would be an awfully tempting target for an engineer to engineer on. Run the tank at a vacuum so bubbles expand and rise faster or something.

If you can pass that information on to Nick for Pace to review, that would be great. Thanks!

You must have a tank with a dry sump system because if the oil is not in the oil pan it has to be somewhere... The tank basically gravity feeds back to the stock oil presure pump and there is very little room behind the washer fluid reservoir. The stock washer fluid res holds about 9 liters on pre 86 cars 7.5 liters on later cars so the fabricated tank needs to be larger than the existing tank to hold enough oil and leave room for air and blowby to perculate out of the oil before it gets sucked back into the engine.

I tried to locate my 3qt Accusump where the windshield washer is but it would not fit. I don't think that the oil tank for a dry sump system would fit there.

I saw JV's drysump tank, it makes a 3qt accusump tank look tiny. His drysump tank looks like a full keg of beer

That seems like a legitimate use for the air pump.

Which hopefully leads to my question as to where in God's name would an oil tank go in the 928???

Hey Jim, does Mark have dry sump?

Anderson has his oil tank mounted where the heater blower fan and fuse relay board used to live. Custom bulkhead to shielded it from the passenger foot well. There of course is no pasenger seat the power steering pump mounts where the seat was...
