I had no idea that the 928 was available in so many beautiful (and exotic) colors! Is this something unique to the 928 line or did the 911's also get built in such a wide variety of colors? Most 911s that I've seen have been relatively common colors.

Interesting. My paint sticker states MooseGrun Metallic, which is a dark green. However my jams are a dark burgundy and the body has been resprayed almost a kiln red metallic. I was thinking burgundy was the original color since it was in the door jams and under the hood. However now that I think about it, the doors are green behind the skins. I thought all the doors were just primered green and not painted on the inside... Thing is I really like the green. Might have just made up my mind what color to repaint.

Should have looked like this. Maybe a little gold flake to wake it up?

BTW, take a gander at those mountains in the distance...must have a few Porsche ready roads on it.

How about a nice yellow. Don't believe it to be original though.

Not sure what this color is but the car is a 78 Euro automatic with 62k miles. Car was originally a non-sunroof car but some moronic PO cut a hole in the roof to add one. DOH!
Car looks more Teal in the direct light.

Can't see your pic, but mine's GPWeiss over an all-leather, all-brown interior.

Russ, gonna keep those super cool sidepipes? I think I just threw up a in mouth a little. Those are fine for a van with **** carpeting on the walls or a Cobra kit car, but Pah-leees NOT on a 928!

To add to the colors... Arrow Blue is pretty rare, the race car was not that color originally, but I LOVE the color and then I just could pass up Blue82 when Kie saved it from the garage! Yea, I know they don't quite match...that is the way it goes when you have to mix colors though, but they are really close. Paint codes match, but always a bit of variation.

James-

I am really undecided as to their future. I was hoping to combine the with a 180 degree header set, but I am very much undecided. they did make the car look as if it was very low to the ground, compared to without, and it was lighter than the OEM pipes. they didn't make the car sound like some ricer rig though----

Ohhhh...it's like anything else....somethings we like, others we don't. I don't like wingless 928's, but the trend seems to be going that way. if I wanted a 928 to look like an ***-dragger, I'd buy a 911......it's OK, but you can see where this goes!

Leave Russ's side pipes alone. someone had to do it and he was nice enough to volunteer.
