My friend Mike S. has the only 928 in "Heron Grey". He says it was a design study by the factory and was never actually available as a color in production. Somehow he got ahold of it on a trip to Europe. He has alot of unique machines in his collection, including a pre-war Bugatti Grand Prix car - Ruf

Default kermits uk cousin...

i found this on ebay the other day, i love the 70s colour scheme and purity of line with the early cars, they just look like classics to me. i love the shape of the later cars too, much more contemporary!

Haven't seen this one posted yet so it may be a not so common color.

1981 928S Moss Green Metallic.

Not rare at all unless you're looking for one in really good condition. Although most I've seen labeled as Slate blue 661 are really the mid-80's Iris blue 33P. Landsharks Oz shows some sort of gray color for Slate blue despite several people pointing out the error and me sending correct pictures.

Anybody have an original Oak Green 264 928? Not the later GTS 22L color. How about a 30A Moss green instead of the usual 20C?

Somebody posted some pictures of a gorgeous blue similar to Tahoe blue that not a single car in the US was painted. I think it was a common on 964s or 993s, but very few GTSs were made in the color. The pictures were Porsche promos taken in a large plaza area, IIRC.
