Me Too!!
I just finished the redo of the intake system. The picture purposefully doesn't show the hood because of the missing hood blanket.

Thanks! I just went back through this thread and clearly mine isn't as impressive as many of these, but I like it.

Hi John,

I built it. You like the engine badge from a 16v in the center? A close up would reveal my lack of fiberglass skills, but it doesn't look too bad in this shot does it?

Thanks!

This one took me almost a year of working on and off (mostly off). Let's see, I'd have to sell them for about, oh. $17,000@ to make it worth my while. Maybe I'll post a poll to see if there's any interest at that pricepoint.

Here is an updated pic with some changes I just got completed a few weeks ago. The air intake setup is a copy of DRs Blackbird design I made myself.

See more pics here:

Mike, very cool! I really like DRs Blackbird setup too, but there's no room in my S3. Your implementation is very cool. I can't believe I missed that thread.

I just saw this on your link too:

That lexan heat shield is very cool. Any numbers to see if it's helping anything? How about with the different filter setup? Any dyno or AFR numbers to see if it's having any effect?
