I thought I would be different and show some pictures the first month I had the car. Needless to say it had a few leaks and needed a bit of cleaning.

Love this heat shielding stuff...it's made a huge difference to heat soak in stop/start traffic on hot days, and strangely (?) it seems to have lead to a drop in coolant temps. Wasn't expecting that.

Here's my 91 GT as a work-in-progress. A bottom-up rebuild from the cross-drilled crank, Pauter rods and CP pistons to an Autronic ECU with COP ignition. It's got about 1500 miles on the rebuild and is back in the shop for the Paxton Novi SC installation ala Todd! More pics to follow.

Wow, after this last image, it's impossible to be better, but still I'll show my '85 euro Megasquirted:

I still need to make up the connections for the intake for cold air induction from the front of the rad.
BTW, the white stuff is some snow that fell in...

Not sure if I have got the upload to work correctly but here goes.

I think this is what an engine bay should look like!

Joe,

They are 3 inch reinforced polypropylene water hose painted black- tought as old boots and good thermal insulation- paint usually lasts me about a year befor ebeing scratched and I get them to re-paint them or I make some more for about $10 a pop [my friendly painter re-does them free and gratis for me in about 5 minutes]. I have to remove the custom cross brace [made from SS pipe/chrome plated- weights a ton] to remove the tubes with damaging the paint and eventually decide to pull htem out anyway and it scratches them.

You would not like the original colour of th pipe- candy stripe green- unles you had a weird paint job to start with.

Regards

Fred

Another boring bone stock picture. Nothing added but Nicole's sticky letters on the intake.

I had to add this one from the 'custom hood' thread:

Posted by Ragnar Joensen

Everything is built in carbon and the manifold has been optimized to reduce the known shortcomings of the original design.

It is built by Mikael Flis in Sweden. "AKA Composite Mike"
