928 SUPERSHARK Flares Finished...
Well, I finally finished the installation of my custom fabbed "GTS" flares. Well, except the fuel door. Since you cannot get a "GTS" fuel door, I am fabbing one as we speak!
I painted the car Thursday night and color sanded and buffed Friday - They look like they were born there. All angles show beautifully. These took me 4 months to get right and over 100 hours to install and finish. One month of that was building the nerve to cut up a perfectly good S4! But the results are very good. They look very close to a GTS except they are 1/2" wider and roll a bit more smoothly into the doors and wells.
I welcome any comments, both positive and negative.

Awesiome work, Kevin! Looks very smooth and well integrated into the 928 shape.
Did you end up using parts from an RX-7, as you mentioned at one point?
I also like the lettering on your rear bumper cover...

Thanks, everyone. No rx-7 panels here! Nicole , I actually owe you one as I took your advice about those, They looked too bulky and arched.

You have molds? Awesome!! How about a run of repros?
Those look like the same shape (but not as huge) as Don Hanson's GT racer, and those are stellar in person...
GREAT, GREAT job!

I think you need to lower your car a bit. Paris Dakar is done for this year?

And all that bright polished stuff under the hood looks too clean to be a real picture.
NICE JOB, to say the least!
I immediately looked at where you live because I wanted to come over for a body shop consultation on my car! Let's see, if I leave tomorrow, I can be there by Tuesday. Are you available?
