Playing around with thermal imaging about 15 minutes after I got home and the car was still hot.

The hitch in that very picture was mine and which I mounted to the -89 GT I had at the time. I used the GT to haul my 964 RS back and forth from the tracks here in Sweden 😊
Yes its a factory hitch that I was lucky to find in never used condition. My old car is still in Sweden with about 110000 km on the clock.
I am now looking for a 928 again but this time an early car.
