Mine is yellow. Don't know if that is correct for '88 model year since I acquired it a long time ago.

Almost sure this is yellow.

At least, this is what I have observed on many cars.

I'm glad to already have a brand new CS dashboard harness...

For my ´87 it is yellow.
For my ´91 it is black.

Comparing my RS7 to the 928, amazing how petite the 928 is to modern cars. I just seem to love German V8's....

Cool Hot topic

Playing around with thermal imaging about 15 minutes after I got home and the car was still hot.


You can just see the heat wanting to get out of the engine bay.




And there it is!




Pretty much the same view with different palettes:






Still some pretty good heat in the brakes.




Went outside a little later with a different lens and got a few more shots. Brakes had cooled, but engine still showed some heat.

Ye​​​​​​s its a factory hitch that I was lucky to find in never used condition. My old car is still in Sweden with about 110000 km on the clock.
I am now looking for a 928 again but this time an early car.
