Sadly, some 928's are relegated to domestic chores.
On the other hand. this one was rescued after a year sitting on a flat tire in a P dealer salvage lot, so I guess its ok.
Its also the fastest thing in the neighborhood. Well, maybe the grey car is faster.

the 928 B+B
Through the 70's and 80's, I often collected favorite articles from Road&Track magazines. Here's one that I found from that era, that I thought you would find entertaining. It's not a good scan, because it was an old photo album and the paper is literally glued to the page now. Hope you enjoy...

Nordschleife Master
New Rotors from Roger for the '81 as well as the new and used brake pads and then the used up old rotor. Over 160k miles on the car...no idea how many times the brake discs and pads have been changed, but I think this is the first time they have been changed since I bought the car in '99! I think I have put over 25k miles on it in the last 11 years too!

Burning Brakes
Aftermarket water pump failed after just 1500 miles. Time to install my new and improved water pump which just arrived.
Can't wait to get back on the road...
Thanks Ed!

Getting there....
Engine out of the 90 Zyclamrot Metallic S4. Getting a refresh of sorts to include Ed's (Obehave) water pump and Roger's Gates Racing TB. A few other upgrades as well....

This really is a awesome thread, can we say that with out posting a picture?
I hear AO gets really mad when you dont post a picture.
A shot from last weekends short drive.
It is kind of cool that you can get the idea to go for a drive and in just a few minutes have other 928 owners saying "Yea, lets do it"
This was set up in less than 30 minutes last Saturday.
Left to Right
Spike, cool guy, ex A10 driver and Airline pilot, he is well on his way to having a sorted 87, really nice car, black on black.
The guy in the middle is Paul Hunt, he is a man of many skills, fabrication is just one of them.
You people that love P51's should talk to Paul, he does have some stories and a bunch of hours in them.
Pauls 88 is getting really close to being a sorted car also, this white car is the one we put the thrust bearings in right before SITM last year, among other things that were done to it.
The pretty lady on the right is Pauls wife, the Salsa lady, if you got to try any of her salsa at SITM 2010 you know she makes the best salsa in the world, not kidding about that .
