Phil,

DO NOT TOUCH THE CAMS WITH ANYTHING!!!!
You can only have them touched up by a professional camshaft grinder. Anything else will destroy the camshaft.
Also, do not turn the cam at all! Remove it from the engine and replace all the lifters.

If those are S4 cams, I have a couple sets for sale. If you want more performance, I also have brand new german chill cast cams with big lift/duration.

Phil,

Could you please tell us how the fire happened?
I see you are using 928motorsports fuel rail, which has been shown to not have the required hold downs so as to be offered as a "kit" by many of us. Was this the source of the fire?

fire was caused by a leaking hose i had made by pirtec which connected the metric thread of original fuel feed pipe to AF thread of fuel rail.
just bad luck it sprayed over a plug lead that had a stray spark....

99% of parts now sourcedl, fingers crosed,it will give me somthing to do over easter next year.

i will contact you direct about camshafts.
cheers
Phil

Default Order of analog clock and rear AC **** assembly into Center console

The recessed grommets that sit just 'outside' the console piece have different part #'s left and right, note the 'D'-shaped cutouts in the grommets and the clock holes are 180o out from side to side...
