Well got the car to a shop that just painted a friends 911SC, so I used them to clean up some blemish’s from the PO along with one small Boo Boo by me.
Clean and polished!

Drove to Tucson from Mesa and back this morning. Quick little 4 hour parts run! Finally found some 16” 928 dials to go with my ‘86 951 rears. 3 solid wheels and two pretty scuffed ones for $200. I’m going to build end tables out of the scuffed ones and keep the 3rd as a nice spare for the fronts

USO hosted a car show on base today and I placed 2nd in the "classic, pre-1999" class. First place was that sweet red 1970 Chevelle SS you see in the picture behind me. If you gotta lose, that's an awesome car to lose to.

Lets face it the crowd went for the foreign car.
Exotic Chevrolets are always very desirable.
( yes this is a lil bit of humor)
Its not every day a foreign car beats a foreign car.
That said had you shown up at Hershey you could have won first place,
your car is not a loser by any stretch of the imagination.
Nice ride height by the way.
