After 160K km and 33 years, my original one gave up this week.
My local mechanic found this one for me in BC.
I think I got lucky to get a BOSCH rebuilt unit like this one.
Should be good for a while with this one...

This all started because of a noisy throw out bearing! Going after the TT next!
Talk about mission creep, started and kept finding things to fix.

Went with allen head screws...time will tell...
FYI it was 8 years since I was last in the throttle body and uploaded the content to Rennlist...the o-rings were in great shape but wanted to do a re-pack of the bearings so replaced them. Also changed position of the outer spring stop on the outside portion so it was not under as much tension, as I have it under good advisement it helps...I did quite a few interstate drives with no cruise and can vouch for the pain it brings.

Going back together.

Thank you to everyone responsible; this is one sweet mill and it took a team of great people agreeing to participate to make something great. I am in your debt and you will forever have my humblest and most sincere thanks for this beautiful thing. It has always been my dream to give it a new heart before I got to old to enjoy it....

As a sales brochure and product literature geek, I will be very envious of the winner of this auction.
