Sorry I have to respond to this in public: since when was I not single? :P
ANYWAYS, it was great fun and thanks for being one of the drivers. Cheers to Tim and Cheryl for all of their hard work and everyone else for being as friendly and awesome as you all are!

Hey Nicole your First Place in my heart, and in my drivers seat , yes you are the the only woman that has driven my shark, now what does that tell yaa????I was just letting your friend Amy know that she was a big asset to the wonderful trip that we all played a part in, and to encourage her to come again, Just remember that without you my car might not run as well as it does , cause Nicole your the Heartbeat of Germany, Kisses and Hugs........... OMG! That is outstanding work Amy! Bravo.
It's good to see some familiar faces and to hear how well it captured the spirit of the weekend, very nice job.
Despite two months of advanced prep, turbo woes threw me a curve ball. I still have some free time later in Sept and family is expecting me, I look forward to meeting Tim and Cheryl then too.
Here's to meeting the locals at Sharktoberfest 06'
Once again Amy, very nice work. Thank you.

So, this update is very late in coming... I had to meet the movers Monday after the event and get my house moved. This turned into a huge project, with many pitfalls along the way. The space is slightly smaller inside but with a much bigger yard. The garage is slightly smaller, though I can make do for now.
My litany of excuses for not posting sooner includes, but is not limited to: The move itself, and recovery time, 3 weeks of trying to get DSL working(it's been so long since I had dial-up, that my only modem is a 14.4 ), Having to get automatic irrigation working on the property, Getting window coverings ordered and hung(this place has a LOT of glass, too much when it's 100░F+), stamping out the well-entrenched ant colonies that seemed bent on finding and eating everything in sight, Getting a too-big washer/dryer set to fit into a too-small laundry room(with a diversion that involved 75 feet of sewer snake and a lot of cussing), etc. etc. One of these days, after we get more than 1/3 of the way dug out from this mess, I'll have to invite the local sharkaholics over for a BBQ. Ron, I'd be happy to grill up some veggies special for you, no olive oil.
With that out of the way, let me just say that the event was fantastic -- anyone who missed out, you REALLY missed out. Tim and Cheryl put on one hell of an event, the only disappointment being that there weren't more faces.
BTW Amy, I watched your video -- what can I say -- AWESOME work!
George, as usual, way too many fabulous pics to absorb at one sitting. Nice going!
Joe, great pics as well.
It was great to see all of you again.

I'm off to catch up on some forum reading & replying to subscribed threads, but for now let me leave you with the following -- yes, it's stitched together from smaller images, but it almost begins to give some sense of the grandeur....
