I want to echo everyone elses sentiments about the excellent event that Tim and Cheryl put on this past weekend. For me the hospitality was beyond measure. I was made to feel welcome even though I had never met most of the attendees before. This is again another in the continous examples of how great a community we have going.
Thanks again to Tim and Cheryl.
And here are some of my picts:
This is probably a rare photo as George is usually "out of the picture"

So they balanced them as good as they could, and the car is riding much smoother now...
We had the privilege of meeting bigs over dinner, and today we are going to dinner with a larger group of locals...

Nicole:
I assume you did nothing to bend the rims since they were powdercoated. If the rims were bent, ANY shop should have noticed that. Who did the mounting and balancing after the rims were coated?
These are cast rims, right? So, they can be straightened...but then I think they will need re-refinishing.
I know the common computerized balancers no longer spin the tires at high speed, whereas I would expect the Hunter road force does. So, it may be easier for the Hunter guys to see the bent condition, but that is no excuse for it not being noticed earlier before you spent money on refinishing. Checking runout is so easy to do it should be routine before refinishing a wheel or when balancing new tires.

I think it should be mentioned that Porsche had a color called "TAHOE BLUE". Let there be NO question as to why they used it and called it that color!!! Simply beautiful!

Here is a collection of my pics from the weekend (I don't have the pics from Debra's camera yet). I'm working on the movie and will post it when I get a chance:

It can't be said enough - Big Thank You to Tim and Cheryl for hosting such a great event. I hope they will do it again next year and that more people have the opportunity to experience this gathering!
I guess some highlights for me were keeping up with Tim's Beast on the Kingsbury Grade and the late night poker huddle in Ron and Debbie's room!

Still deciding on driving to Denver for the OCIC.
BTW - what is it about Emerald Bay that brings out the euphemistic hand gestures in people?!?!?

Erik,
Good luck on the OC, maybe next time the scheduling will allow us to attend. I'm quite sure you will do a terrific job of taking care of the Shark owners.
Did you go throught with the plans we talked about last year and are you racing it yet?
Tim

George just emailed me the link to the web page of our "official" Sharks at the Lake photo's. This should take you a while because there are several hundred thumbnails that will expand if you want to see the detail.
