BTW Matt, I'll be glad to host the pics in full size on my site if you want so those who want them can print them. Just PM me if you wish and I'll send over the e-mail.

Some of my favorite pics of this year's event. Least some from my perspective anyways....
Tarek's great cab in its better days.....
I know it will be again one day soon. I have some pics I took for him of it into the tree at the accident. I'd post to show the seriousness of it for those who did not see, but I won't out of respect for Tarek, unless he gives his ok 1st. I know just seeing it the first time for him was surely traumatic enough.

You might remember me as the Police Officer from Kentucky. This was my first SITM, as this is also my first post. I have always been a fan of 928's and bought mine just over a year ago. My pregnant wife accompanied me and although she came just to get away from home, she had an awesome time, as did I. My unborn son will likely not be there with me next year, but he will make an appearance in years to come.
Not knowing anyone (by name or by username) I wandered around and met many who shared my dementia and taste for beer (beerfish). I learned a great deal and immdiately decided to become a rennlist member mainly because of the friends I made and the ones I look forward to meeting next year by username (although I haven't paid dues yet; I will, trust me). It was an experience that I will never forget.
P.S. I feel much better about trading my 15mm spacers to Matt for 3 beers (or maybe 4-5, can't remember) knowing they will go to good use rather than selling them to someone on Ebay I'll never know.

(if these pictures don't work, it will show how new to this I really am.)

Shawn, Thanks again for the spacers!
Matt and Susie had a Nikon SLR. They also had a laptop to transfer the pictrures to and Verizon boradband so they could run Google Maps and check Rennlist while driving around.

Here's a pic of the "TB Adj. Gang" outside of Little Sienna's restaurant. Left to Right, thats Debbie & Michael Giammarco(the TB guru) from Florida; Chris & Miche Rose(Mr. Perfect with his '82 shark engine) from Tenn.; & my wife Pamela.
As Micheal told Chris, they are cut from the same mold as both strive to make their cars better than new in how they work on them. To me, both are to be admired for the meticulous manner & respect with which they treat their cars. A true inspiration to someone like me.
We stayed behind at the meadow when everyone had left for the drive on the Blueridge Parkway heading to the L.Sienna's. All three of us had our TB warning lights come on when we started to leave with the big group. Chris's car was taken care of at the meadow & the next morning we adjusted Micheal's & mine in the parking lot behind the Best Western. Micheal was great in the hands on, step by step guidance he gave us. Chris & I both said we were no longer TB Adjustment Virgins! A big thanks to Don from Fla for lending a hand Sunday morning too.
On the way to Little Sienna's we stopped to stay with Tarek & his Broken Nosed Shark till the flatbed came, then went on to eat. This pic I took before we headed back out. Truly, Truly Great People. Kinda glad my TB light came on when it did so we were able to spend some time with such Super Shark owners. Look forward to seeing them again soon. Hopefully at least by mid Oct. in Daytona for the Shark gathering at the PCA races there.

One last pic for now. This one was at the Swinging Bridge on Grandfather Mtn with Chris & Miche Rose & my wife Pamela & I. We went after the TB adjustment on Sunday afternoon. Kinda neat, kinda expensive($14 ea.), kinda scary.... but glad we went! Pamela & Chris had no qualms about just walking along the rocks at the top, with no guardrails or anything, & Chris was wearing flip flops! I especially was tenative after the park ranger mentioned how they do have people fall off from time to time! Did I mention yet I was kinda glad to get back to the flat land of Florida??
