Frank,

I'm absolutely up for that. If I end up winning the auction, I'll let you know and plan on it. Dude, you've got to get your shark back together. What'er you doing to it?

Maybe it's not 100% authentic, but it's still a nice example of 928. The Pasha Interior alone makes it desirable, and the exterior - well, it could be de-stripped when it needs a repaint some time in its life...

The sunroof is unfortunate, but might be attractive for someone who is too tall for the factory one and still wants a such "opening".

BTW: I still have a few of these introductory brochures available from 1977...

Hey Frank,

You've got a lot going on, but that's gotta be a great feeling when you do all that yourself. Awesome. and if you like it, that's what it's all about.

I recently looked at a '79 euro a/t M28/02 silver with black interior. The interior was pretty bad, but I still liked it. Here are some pics.
The good: asking price $1600, no sunroof, car starts and runs, drives and brakes work. New behr radiator is 2 years and almost no miles old. No marker lights, has 8" euro H4s, manual seats, was registered and on the road 2 years ago by p.o.
The bad: car idles high (1200 rpm?) and makes lifter noise until warm, tranny shifts slow (but works ok), handles very strange (like tires are flat) could be due to bad shocks, cosmetics are needing help mostly on interior. Car is dirty and sits outside. Fluids are old. Car is a repaint with a couple blems.
Stats: about 150K miles, has what appear to be original "S" spoilers (front missing) but block says M28/02 which is 229 hp and 250 TQ...not a euro S.
Owned by a friend of a rennlister who also owns an '81 euro S 5 speed. Was bought as a potential parts car, but runs and could be restored. If interested, contact Keith at (401) 225-0145. I can't take on another project like this right now. It's in Rhode Island.

Couple more pics. I wish I had the time to clean it, change fluids and trouble shoot some stuff to see what the car has going for it.

Headlight motor fuse looks very toasty.... right high beam fuse looks semi-toasty. Not especially encouraging...

Yeah, he says its never given him any problems and that he had a stack of reciepts, but that to me just means problems are just waiting to crop up. He did not tell me when the timing belt/water pump had been changed last either, and said he did not personally work on it, nor did he tell me what shop he used, if he used mine I know you could just call them up and ask.
