Matt, to some, yes. While I love Porsches and consider their safety best-of-world, if you trust your life to Porsche only ..... good luck

I dunno. When I click on the link I provided, the page pops right up.

Did we ever determine the actual color of the totalled shark? Shouldn't it be on the car's option stamp?

Glad you turned out OK. Shame about the car, but 928s give up their lives to save ours. Let's have a moment of silence...

Wow, I sure didn't expect this much response. I appreciate it all.
I'm really intrigued by this color thing. I never did see an option stamp on the car, to find out the color code. I'm talking to the insurance company on Tuesday, so I'll let you all know how it goes.

You still haven't told us, if this is a metallic color or not.

I see nobody has mentioned this, but you might consider going to a chiropractor if you were bounced around that much.

Nicole, that's classic... "but you didn't answer all of the questions on how it was decorated"...

Last words of the Titanic's Activities Director:
No, no, no!
The striped deck chairs should be placed against the hand rail ...
Remember Nicole was once, and forevermore, a paint Madchen.

Haha - he says hes is intrigued by that color thing - how can we ever figure out what that color really is, if we don't even know the most basic information? He might need the information, in case buffing isn't 100% successful in restoring the car.

Perhaps it's Velvet Red 81L (fits with the year), although it looks like Rubystone Red 82N as well (wrong year though). Cherry Red 80F looks too bright. You should be able to verify it from the car's paint code?
