Glenford, there should be a silver sticker with the color on the driver's door jamb. If you still have the option sticker under the carpet on top of the gas tank, the code should be listed there. Also, you should be able to get the paint color code with the VIN from a Porsche dealer's parts department. If the dealer won't give it to you, I think Rixter can get the info with the VIN.

I just settled the claim with ICBC (my insurance company), and thanks to you guys, I received $20,000 for the car. I wrote them a nice letter describing how the experts in this Porsche club of mine (Rennlist), estimated the value of the car at higher than the average 928, because of the color.

I saw right after he posted the result and was being polite and not asking if it was US dollars or funny money.

Glenford, did you find out what you can get the car for? I guarantee you can make a pile of money on the parts for that car.
