I've been trying to figure out what color it is (was), for a long time. My new camera doesn't capture the color accurately. Here's some more pictures that are closer to what it looks like. I think it's cherry red, but everytime I brought it in to a Porsche Dealership, they comment on the unique color.

It's good the 928 is so wide with wide door sill. Not like some cars where you can
lean on the window while driving.

Ernest, I was listing it on Ebay, but after the accident I couldn't figure out how to cancel the auction, so I bumped the price up to 50,000 so nobody would bid on it.

Seriously, they are a different animal in the rain. Glad you are OK, but don't be surprised if you get a little shakey in a couple of days. That would be normal. Take it slow for a while and God bless.

I knew it!! When I first saw your picture I was thinking deja vu. The velvet red/ white interior looked very nice.

I think the the color is Caissrot(sp?). A guy here in town as that color and affectionately names his car Rosey. It indeed is a rare color.

I got a concussion a year or so ago from a fight, I guess I wandered around my neighborhood for several hours before walking home and sitting in the shower....
