Funny, the paint looks reasonably nice but they painted over the door locks, latches and mirror gaskets- very Earl Schrieb. If it were mine I would clean that up prior to selling. My cab needs paint, but at least there isn't that much stuff that has been over painted.

How doe these drive in a cab form? All the cabs I have driven felt like wet noodles over bumps, RR tracks, etc. With the weight of a 928 I imagine these cant feel very solid.

Matt,
Since I have an almost identical cab and a coupe I should be able to answer your question, but unfortunatly I cannot. In the handeling department my coupe is definatly tighter, but I think that is mostly because I have nice Kuhmos on it and old used crap on the cab. The brakeing and power on the coupe are much better but I think that is mostly because the the difference between a '79 euro with hacked up exhaust system (the cab) and an '82 us S comp group but Borla cat back. The shifting on my cab is also much worse, a combination I think of the earlier trans plus needing an intermediate plate adjustment. Also, the '79 euro and the '82S us use different gear ratios and this has a huge effect on the seat of the pants feel, I think. The cab certainly feels lighter.
In sum I guess I am saying that I think any seat of the pants difference in feel between cab and coupe are probably over shadowed by differences in condition and year model.
