Sorry, I just now read this topic, could have saved you some grief...
I had the exact thing happen to my GTS at the Frenzy two years ago. Same noise, same problems. By the time we could get it on the lift, both guide tube bolts had backed out completely. Making for one seriously concerned stroker onwer. The problem did reoccur months later, so I drilled the threads out of the BH and used a thru bolt and lock nut to secure the guide tube.
If you're certain that you torqued the M6 bolts down, then look for a vibration related issue.
