Eric, Those Profil 5's will look great on Turq. Ordered 18" FM5's for the 94 and Fikse 17" Classics on the 79. Great rims. T
Thanks, Tony. Your rims on both cars look sweet!

You said they wouldn't work and you may use them on your 911. i have a set of Victor Equipment Innsbruck coming from eBay that look just like that. I think I am going to have a problem with fitting the fronts. Rears are 19x10.5 et55 Fronts are 19x8 et 45.

I had 305's in the back. Not much of an issue except the front was too low to fit the rears and spacers were used. The fronts unfortunately we're sticking out and rubbing.
I wish they fit right. Absolutely georgeous looking wheels.
Since that I bought 19" Porsche carrera wheels. Me sad

"Not much of an issue except the front was too low to fit the rears and spacers were used. " Could you clarify this? Can you also reply with what size the wheels where and what offset? What size tires were you using? I have been racking my brain with all these numbers and would love to know all the info from what you tried. How did it drive? I read with a front 45 offset I could get tram lining and stability issues because of scrub radius loss. Thanks- Gunar

Nice old man stuff.

Brian.
I think these shiny wheels are unsurpassed on a dark coloured car. What does it take to keep it that nice and shiny?

All good. The ride is a little more harsh but everything else is great

Looks great but, 45mm offset is too low on the front.... Do they rub? How does it handle? 52mm offset is about as low as I've been able to fit without issues. 54-56mm would be better option and what is readily available aftermarket or from other Porsche models for our 928s. Could always have a set cu$tom built. Wish you the best.

No issues (no rub front or back, handles the same or better, can let go of steering wheel on highway and tracks straight, no pull to left or right) I have newer springs and shocks from an S4 on my car which are stiffer than the originals. This may be helping with the no rub since they were designed for a heavier car than mine. I actually have more clearance on the rear fender even though i went from a 245/50/16 on a 9" rim 36 offset to 285/30/19 on a 10.5" rim with a 55 offset. Fronts are definitely at the limit for sticking out at the fenders but using 225/35/19 minimized the problem. Gunar

They look good, be sure to post up a few more pics once your suspension settles. Maybe in the day as well.
