Thanks! I've since put Yokohama S-Drive's all around with the correct widths. The original owner didn't have the correct tire widths on the front, so it looks a little funny in that picture.

Default More Carrera III's

I bought these a couple years ago and they've sat in the garage while EVERYTHING else (um, 'cept the obvious problems with the crap paint job and me running into things) got done. I bought some center caps off ebay and while awaiting arrival, slapped on the wheels and realised that the old phone dial center caps work.

Big unexpected bonus.....phone dials with 225/50-16 weight in at 44.3, 44.9, 4.1 and 45.6lbs.

The carrera III's - 18x 10's with 265/35-18 weight 43.3lbs and the 18x8's with 235/40-18 weight 42.5lbs!!!!

Weight savings!

^My favorite wheels, Dan. Nice! I wish the twist 996 / Boxster wheels cam in an 11" width.

I like the flats, and if you look at the Formula 1 cars, apparently the full flat surface contributes to F1 performance

Ok, I'm adding these pics from the ebay S4 to this thread, not sure you would call them "cool" but definitely something I've never seen on a 928 before.

57mm up front and 58 in the back. Just a perfect size. Dumped the 265/40-18 that came with the rears for a 35 aspect.

NOW, that being said, I am the first guy to be loose with a rattle can and I think I could make them look pretty fly with the right color 928.
I thought these would look better. Glad I saw your picture, wonder if they would look better on a black GTS

I really liked these. Can't remember the guys name from OCIC but they looked sharp. They were on a black 89 S4
