Keep my posted, jacking up my track car is a POS - I was talking to a local machine shop about having a set made up before you posted your creation. I'm sure whatever you charge will be chaper than a one-off made locally.

Mel - If I saw one of these for sale, I would be happy to pay around $160 for <S3, $150 for S4> (a bit more on eBay).

Ken, if I saw a piece of wood of roughly the same proportions but in a much, much lighter shade and with a bit of grain to it, you know, like yellow or stinkwood, well .... in that case, depending on the time of year ... I'd likely pay quite handsomely for it, especially if my gf were nearby. Now, were i to see that item in balsawood, and it were on ebay ... well, then I wouldn't as much as look at it. Capice?
