This is very scary. People know Rolex, they know his car. Sometimes I think we are too public here when these things happen.

Odds are the keys were in the car since it was "safe" in the garage and the battery was flat. Someone definitely wanted THAT car and unfortunately insurance does not cover highly modified cars as having more value than stock.

I just think that rennlist is a large community. All Communities have thier wackos (me), thier Copernicus (You Jim), and thier thieves.

Ouch. He may have left his address in plain view to anyone with a bit of internet knowledge. This is one reason I like keeping my car info on the Rennlist server, and I tend to blank out my house number and license plate in pics. Anyway, I hope he gets his car back.

No, but one could be shot walking up my driveway, as I live "out in the country"

Hope he gets the car back....!

Sad but preventable

They make these great products called wheel locks that tow truck operators use......sure would have been a lot cheaper. I have had a collectible car or two before and if they were stored, I put on a wheel lock and a steering wheel lock. I also pulled the brain. Oh well. You can't fix .... can you.

Richard has the idea down right. Mr. Remington, Mr. Smith, Mr. Wesson, Mr. Mauser and a few others live at my place too.

A local female officer was shot in the face here this AM by a thug. They returned fire in the leg and the guy will survive. In my book, they missed the mark. Violent crime has become bad here in Cincinnati, we have had a lot of shootings as of late.
