All the finished metal parts for the intake linkage have finally come in. The throttle lever arms got stuck in the storms for a bit, but arrived today. I will take them to the anodizer when I get back from SITM, but had to go ahead and swap out the hardware today for a quick test run.

The lever arms have an integrated wide-open stop and adjustable closure stop. Fox Valley Springs wound custom left hand and right hand springs, with very tight tolerances and full spec sheets and propertied model, just for these levers. They have also been designed so I can use them over both 8mm and 10mm shafts for any future throttle related projects.

The lay shaft holders have Igus T500 bushings pressed in for a lifetime of service, but will hold up to any heat or chemical cleaner that may get used. I am still deciding if I am using the off-the shelf pulley and cable holder, or machining the ones I designed. The idle valve blocks are on order, and supposed to be done the second week of June, along with the rest of the major pieces of the new fuel pump/filtration system.

Here are some progress pictures, and a quick video to show the throttle linkage in motion... its snappy:

It just keeps getting prettier and prettier. True jewelry. All those that are purchasing these kits will have to line their under hood surfaces with black crushed velvet to properly show off the jewelry. LOL. Stunning Hans.

The finished billet idle control blocks are finally here. They are going out for anodizing tomorrow. One of the pillars is an inlet for fresh filtered air to go through the idle control valve (sourced from a Ford Mustang), the other pillar is for the vacuum source for the brake booster. Both come out at 90deg angles past the moving throttle linkage.

The other two lower ports in the inlet itself are used for the other vacuum items and the tank evap.

One more step closer....

Teaser pics for things to come. First 2.6L twinscrew compressors ever to wear billet front gear covers. Shown with the custom drive extension and aluminum drive pulleys for the soon to be released twinscrew kits.

Awesome as always Hans. I'm envious of all you folks that are getting these supercharger kits. Absolute 928 jewelry!! I hope that all of you are cleaning and detailing your engine bays. You can't have this beautiful work of art sitting in a dirty box. I can't wait to see the complete finished product on a customer's car. It will be stunning.

Here is the newest member of the twinscrew family - the heat exchanger, and its a beast.

Weighing it at 9.6lbs of aluminum, it has billet machined endtanks with -10ORB fittings and threaded mounting holes for any kind of bracket or spray bar attachments you could ever want. Core construction is extruded tube and fin, assembled at Bell.

Its hard to convey how solid this piece is - it will never leak, and will take flying road debris with ease.

Installation does require a flapendectomy for 87-89 cars with active cooling flaps. With a bit of work, I was able to remove them without damaging them on the 89 test mule. Its fiddly frustrating work, but well worth it to get this much cooling out front.

Its been a while since I posted some picture, and I just got a bunch of parts in yesterday, so figured I would share a couple.

We have an offset power steering pulley to match the new crank pulley.

A clockable thermostat housing with a -20ORB fitting which can be used with either a motorsport style hose, or existing Meziere WN style hose adapters. (I will be using WN2033S to clear the tensioner bracket and belt cover).

The fully assembled tensioner assembly with my own billet idler that works both on the MOPAR tensioner and as my primary upper idler with a machined bushing. These will be hard anodized, and have a snapring to retain the bearing for easy rebuilds.

I will post some more picture early next week of the manifold with all the printed parts replaced with the finished metal bits, and also of the manifold on the engine with the tensioner and belt.

Its coming along!

A couple more really quick pictures (in the incredibly disorganized garage), showing the assembly.
