I have one. I bought the DEVEK harness hooks wrapped them around a chromoly bar and welded them together to use as a harness bar with harness eyes welded on the bar. I installed Bilstein/Eibach prior to this. If I wanted to take the bar off I would have to drop the shocks first as the shock towers are canted towards each other.

But that rear area could use some strangthening, remember that analysis via stretch and rigidity? Maybe just a link between the holes where the coilovers are to the roof? I know the car twists enough to move the rear hatch and make it squeek.

I'll include pics of the bar with those of the speakers and SC install, hopefully early next week. If things stay on schedule should be at the dyno Saturday.

That rather heavy rear structure between the shocks is subject to nearly zero side loading because of the modified double a-arm Weissach rear suspension further it is reinforced by the alloy rear suspension cradle which bolts to the underside. The alloy cradle absorbs all the sideloading from cornering. Roll bars tie into the shock towers because they are the bones of the beast and they are giving the rollbar strength ! 911,944 most cars etc use Mc Phearson strut front ends with a single lower a-arm and the top of the strut since the stub axle is fixed to the strut is under very high sideloads as it trys to hold the wheel upright. Those cars may need strut braces!
I gather you're saying that your car is oversteering, ie. the rear end wants to break away. If that's the case, you want to make the front stiffer and the rear looser. Adding a rear strut brace WOULD be the wrong thing to do IF it was useful at all.
Try taking a couple of pounds of air out of your rear tires.
Perhaps softening your rear sway bar, or stiffening your front sway bar will change the over steer tendency you feel. Tire pressure changes can also make a big difference. Are your rear springs/shocks stock?
It could also be throttle induced oversteer if he is on the gas too much in the corner... most cars 928 included are set up to understeer by the factory.
