So the chip is programmed with the WBO2, but the WBO2 doesn't have to stay in the car?

>So the chip is programmed with the WBO2,

The SharkTuner uses the WBO2 for air/fuel ratio data.

> but the WBO2 doesn't have to stay in the car?

Correct.

This is some cool Shhhtuff guys. Very cool!

so you can throw in 30lb injectors and easily solve the idle richness by tweeking the idle "mode".....do a few WOT runs in several gears to tweek a WOT"mode" also?

What other trickery can you do.
Nice work John and Dave.
Great to see your now working with INOVATE and there products DR.
I love the LM-1 and Aux box (datalogger)...the LM-3 will be next.

This "Sharktuner" defintely seems to be a huge advancement for us all!

Having seen injector size changed on fly during idle on SC S4 etc. I'd say it's best product ever for S4+ tuning.

Tony, the new Mustang comes with all this stuff right from the factory. For about twelve cents you can make 500HP. Of course, you end up with a 500HP Mustang!!

Hi Tony,

>This is some cool Shhhtuff guys. Very cool!

I agree!

>so you can throw in 30lb injectors and easily solve the idle richness by >tweeking the idle "mode".....

No only by tweaking, but even easier by using "Autotune". I have selected 19lb injectors (even though I am using currently using 30lbs and 30PSI at idle), then hit Autotune (for idle only) and sit back and watch the Sharktuner adjust my idle mixture to 14.7. THEN, I can select 30lb injectors set FP at stock pressures, hit Autotune again and watch it correct the air/fuel again to 14.7.. VERY COOL!!

>do a few WOT runs in several gears to tweek a WOT"mode" also?

Yes, pretty much the same thing.

>What other trickery can you do.

Lots, one example is you can program your "flappy" operation for totaly different RPM and load activation and use it for other things for those of us that don't use a flappy any longer :-)

>Nice work John and Dave.

Not me, this is all John, and VERY WELL DONE!!

>Great to see your now working with INOVATE and there products DR.

I'm learning.

>I love the LM-1 and Aux box (datalogger)...the LM-3 will be next.

Cool!

>This "Sharktuner" defintely seems to be a huge advancement for us all!

Certainly for 87 and later and hopefully for 85-86 soon and knowing John he may come up with something for the earlier 928ers also.

If all goes as planned in the next year all of our new Performance products will include custom chips to get the most/safest power out of those mods.

Sure is a fun time to be a 928er!!!!

Hi Tony,
On the "Parameters" screen you just select whatever injector size you have fitted, and the maps are automatically adjusted. (they of course assume that you are rtunning rated fuel pressure for that injector). If you are running a different fuel pressure you can adjust for that.

You can then fine tune idle, cruise and WOT running.

Yes, it has taken us 2 years to develop the product. By "us" I mean my partner for this project, who is a software genius - Niklas. He's done a great job on this project, which has entailed decomposing the LH software. (I think that's what it's called :-) )

Now, where's my bed ? It's late !

regards

Deconstructing, but who's counting.
Will the stock knock sensors will be used as limiting variables with the EZK module?

I see that you have an 86 euro, so you should have some serious fun in doing you own car for the early LHs!

It's called microcode disassembly which is a copyright vioation as is the selling
of Porsche's microcode via chips.

Loren, correct me if I'm wrong, but to make sense of the programming of the chip (I/O, gain, skew, etc.) without copying the map values doesn't seem to be a copyright violation. Does Autothority pay royalties or something?
