Darien- I'm glad to hear that you fixed your issue. You should still check to see if you see sparks from your wires - because you shouldn't.
Finally, as a service to the rest of the patrons on this forum, as a jet mechanic, can you please tell us what airline you work for?
Tony- Ever thought about a different profession?![ooops](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon501.gif)
j/k

Interesting. I've run platinums and copper and not seen any difference over 20-30k miles, although many others here seem to find fault with the platinums.
You did have some bad wires too. Even your new set had some dancing lights at night. Is that resolved?

I checked plugs first and they looked fine, hell, it may have just been the #4.
While checking all connections and vacuum lines, we discovered the Nology Ignition Coil AMPS leading to the Coils. Not sure if one or both of them may have contributed to my problem.
Andrew, not sure what you meant, but I've got over 17 years in the USAF and have worked over 50 different aircraft. The Shark is not a JET!

The good news is that deer season opens tomorrow (I think). Maybe we can live off the land - like Grizzly Adams! Or maybe we should just drink ourselves into oblivion...

Darien
I just read the end of the thread and thought I would share my two fixes of the same problem you are having (sorry if this has already been suggested).
The first fix was a bad crank postion sensor. The sensor is located on top of the bell housing. When this unit went it was just the lead wire shorting out on the bell housing and it caused the shark to some times run rough, not at all or perfectly normal. I had replaced all of the ignition wires, coils, plugs trying to diagnose.
The second was an open circuit 02 sensor. I actually had a mechanic diagnose a bad cam. I didn't believe him and thought I would try the o2 sensor. Finally, all was well.
