Looking good so far, Lets try to get more than the Netherlands (187 cars) Hotel rate will be really good for a great hotel with covered parking and Porsche only parking. This is a great time of year to see Colorado...

Hmmm
This made me think....so a quick trip to Yahoo maps to determine route and distance (approximately)...nice 1225 mile (each way) from my house (Norcal Valley)....even more for the bay area folks!! So figure on a 2500+round trip! Would be fun in a caravan.....

OK Brian, those were my thoughts also. I tend to pick up a tail wind through parts of some states though. Maybe a caravan would buffer such forces. Anyway that's two of us. It is an easy 3 day trip, or two if you don't want to sightsee.

For those of you thinking of coming from CA. Erik and I drove to Sharktoberfest in two easy days going down, ( Stayed over in Vegas first night ). We drove staight thru on the return trip left LA at 8:00am and arrived Denver 11:30PM. Caravan would be the funnest way to go. Looking forward to seeing all of you CA. people here..

I talked to Erik today at Devek Days...he drove out from Denver for Devek days!!! He said its a great drive!
Okay...more thinking....me??..you...Bill Ball....plus some more along the way....maybe 5-6 sharks caravaning.....?? Probably a two day trip...stopping somewhere in the middle (have no idea where yet?) I'm just wondering how close to Sharks at Tahoe it will be?

Two days will be allright. I suggest stopping in Utah somewhere on I-70. Lots of time left to think about it. I would like to be alert for the drive through western Colorado. Lots of great mountain roads and scenic highway. And it isn't too hot there. Maybe we could connect with the L.A. people halfway through. I presume that they will come through southern Nevada and into Utah around Cedar City and then up to I -70 where we could meet. See you tomorrow on the Fun Run maybe.

Couldn't make the fun run.... :>( Hope it was a blast!
I'm still knocking the idea around.....but the price of gas in June 06...has me a bit worried! I'll have to see how things work out when it gets closer!
