Was there one particular thing that he said that rubbed your rhubarb the wrong way - or - was he just in violation of the "rules"? Did you give him fair warning that if he continued rubbing said rhubarb/breaking the rules that he would get a time-out? Just curious how you operate...
Thanks.
I thought it was only the rain that could "warp" the rhubarb(s). Can they be rubbed the wrong way, too?

Banning Lag is wrong, and that cheap shot at Tim is wrong. I am dissapointed. Here is are my thoughts behind these conclusions Randy.

There is already a a great deal of reluctance on the part of people to relay their personal experiences, that is not just my opinion but it has been expressed to me by others who have chosen not to provide such information in this forum. I don't know any of the three participants personally, though I have purchased product from Tim, and considered such from Andy. I reside in a small, rural community a billion miles away from all these people. I make my purchasing decisions based in large part on the information I find here. I feel banning a person for expressing their opinion diminishes the value of this .com community immeasurely. The people who come here do so for a reason. Irrespective of how intelligent or mature you might judge their posts, I believe the community at large is competant enough to read them and determine for themselves what the value is. Cutting off these threads before they run their natural course has the effect of limiting the information available and discouraging people from posting their own experiences. You are able to do as you choose, I offer my opinion in the spirit of providing feedback from a customer.

Duhhhhhhh,
Lag posted false information about me. Several of the parties that were involved in what he was refering to reached him via PM and right on the list to tell he was wrong. YET HE DIDN'T BOTHER TO SAY THAT HE WAS WRONG OR APOLOGIZE TO ME. Infact after some of the communications he recieved he continued to insist he was correct. IT WAS NOT ABOUT HIS OPINION. But somehow people expect somesort of justification or an apology from Randy for anything. I'm sorry but anyone that expects that is a xxxxxxx idot.

It's pretty clear that some people have never read the Rennlist charter.

Whew!

BTW for those of you who are unfamiliar with the charter...

http://www.rennlist.org/charter.htm

And here are the jucier bits...
5. The list administrator(s) reserve the right to unsubscribe and ban members who act in an intentionally inflammatory, fraudulent, libelous, defamatory, racist or demeaning manner, or in a manner inconsistent with this charter, using any Rennlist system or message communication technology. Further, no private communications can be posted publicly, without the permission of the party that send you that private e-mail/message, as these are typically used to incite Flame wars. It is not our intent to stifle communications, but to insure that free and open communications can take place.
And of course there's the all incopmassing
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use these Forums to post any material which is knowingly false, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. Soliciting other list subscribers to participate or join in any legal proceeding - threatened, pending, or on-going is cause for that user to be banned without further recourse. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you.

Rennlist does not and cannot review each and every message that is posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages. Further, we reserve the right to delete any message for any reason whatsoever.
Based on those rules, I'd say half the members here should be banned.
