Default Evolution of a Shark

I was a bored today, so I thought I would post a progression of pictures of my Shark from the time I bought it till just this past SITM. Unfortunately, I lost the fisrt picture, but found it on the web at a lower res (I really liked the picture). I didn't even have plates for it back then.

A few sets of wheels, Nitrous, aero mirros, and tint later = Visious Shark.

Enjoy.

Nicely done!
Its obviously a matter of personal choice but I think the only other thing you could do to the exterior would be to add a color matched GTS wing on the back??.
Looks great just the way it is really....mirors were a good choice

I cant recall if you told me, but have you done anything underneath? Droplinks, sway bar bushngs, suspension etc?
A set of GTS brakes for the ride down the hill next year. That turkey was lucky!

Cats will be euthenized shortly replaced by headers and a y-pipe. Am considering the adj. droplinks. I thought the brakes were sufficient, but am now reconsidering that position.

That wing... Hmmm I've thought about it too. Anyone here good with photoshop willing to give me a rendering? I leary to ask because the last time I asked for color ideas on the brakes and I got this!

Your a good guy to talk to about this andrew. Now Spoilers, no s-stuff at all. Very clean.

What do you think about the rear wing idea from Tony? I have my 78 ready for color and its up in the air about the S4 wing. I have it all ready to wet sand, and I had the guys get some pics to me in another thread, but I am still going back and forth.

I love the clean lines of the early old bugger, like yours and mine. but the later wing just adds some sharpness that is refreshing.

Dave, you forgot to add the spinners and carbon fiber cowl hood with LED washer nozzles.

Andrew, I think a chin spoiler would be a better addition than the wing, but both would look good. I think you should go with simple black brakes. A lot of the beauty in your car is the simplicity.

I like the chin spoiler idea too, but boy is it hard to keep from smacking that thing on every little bump.

Id go with the chin spoiler over the wing, definitely. I didnt happen to notice it was missing in those pics.
I think this sums it up the best...well said.

Im not sure about the later models but arent there 2 intakes for brake ducting in the chin spoiler?

My car never had the chin spoiler. Hard to add because the sheet metal is not cut for the brake ducts.

Dave, That wing is a bit too ricer for me. Can you tone it down a bit? Wouldn't want to compete with Lockheart now...

Question

Pardon my rather dumb question but... Besides changing the side view mirrors an the rims what else was done? I can't see any dramatic changes...or the " evolution".

Andrew, don't sully the tail with a wing! Forget about it! Oh, that ***...

I may be prejudiced, but the flat dish chromies looked dope!

Visible outside:
Wheels
Aero Mirrors
Tinted Windows
H4's

Inside/under the hood:
Polished spider intake
NOS (75 Shot)
Short Shifter
ARM1 - in process
V1 w/ remote display - in process

Overall the changes are not that dramatic (Except for the NOS), but little things to make the car look a bit more modern.
