Question Cup holder solution

When I test drove the 928 it never occured to me that 150mph cars originally costing twice the amount of my 1970 mortage don't have a convienient place to put a seniors cup of McDonalds coffee, much less a medium diet coke. What is your solution?

Then get in the car.

Target sells a cup holder that slips between the passenger seat and the center console. It looks good. Several of us have it. There is a previous post on it. Do a search on cupholders. Good luck.

I have had my car for 10 years and haven't felt the need to put in cup holders, but I don't do the frequent road trips that many of you do.

I too was going to point to that thread.

Good luck.

Guys,
There was also a different thread I think you guys are referring to... someone is selling (lots of) push in/friction fit dual cupholders that fit between seat and console sides on eBay - search under 928

Seems a bit flimsy looking - but I've never see one - anyone got pics?

They work great and I have one in each of my cars.
Less than $4 from WallMart.
You can remove it when not in use.
Holds two large cups or one cup and your cell phone.
The same thing on eBay is about $12.

I bought a bunch of these (not from this seller, I don't think)...

It is GREAT. I have one both my P-cars, and gave several to some of my Porsche buddies....Come to SITM and see mine! (NOT flimsy at all...)

Got it wrong - takes two large cups and your cell phone.
Take it out and put it in the trunk when not in use.
Very sturdy.

I just use one of these. I slipped the strap between the center console and the passenger side cover on the center console. Works well for me. Cost a whopping $1.

I usually go with the first response of "Finish drink. Then get in car" LOL

Ya'know... I saw some vinyl/interior spay stuff at the auto parts store yesterday... why didn't I think of that? I'll pick up a spare cupholder while I'm at it... just in case. Thanks Mark!
