Wow Marc, I guess all us centrifugal guys are having all sorts of problems, making no power, and just hating life right now.

I would love to see a twin turbo S4 or later, but it does not exist in readily available kit form. The positive displacement had potential with further developement, but I guess that is done. The centrifugal option was plug and play, passed emissions, and has more power than I can use for a street car.

No plans to quit development Jim, will never do that, it's where the fun is! I am just not going to sell them as I have in the past. That's not as much fun.

Marc,
I am trying to make it up. My 80 needs a clutch and I have my S4 apart waiting for the next iteration of TS.

BC,
What are you refering to in your post? It appears that someone has deleted something? I hate it when that happens.

I wish John would get a move on with some 32v manifolds as the plumming idea I have figured should mate perfectly with Andys already intercooled manifold
Now theres a thought.

You could actually take my manifold, remove the SC and stack another IC on top of it to make a massive IC. You could then plumb turbos or some other kind of induction into it. You could also put the SC back on top of it but it would raise above the hood line.

Nothing was deleted.

Marc Thomas was saying that Andy, John, and Lag need to get together at SITM and talk...

Talk?

Talk?

I was saying it's time for a RACE! Hahahaha!

(Or at least a little car-swapping, to compare powerbands in the real world...)

Maybe john should drive a CS car for a while, and Lag should drive the turbo...
Like a student exchange program or something... Heh heh!

There are at least 2 known Sharks out there for which this wouldn't be a problem!

Oh, I'll be there for sure. Andy, get your butt in gear and get up there! I do have to pick up and install that new piping under the I/C I built last week, it is going to save me a lot of headaches in the long run. I do hope Lag will introduce himself to me, I really don't hold a grudge. It would be a pity for these guys to walk around down there hiding behind a screen name and then come on here and make comments about others (it happened last year). Talk is cheap, come over and introduce yourself!

Hey, you all have to give me a break on the 32 valver...it will come, it is just a matter of time. Someone make me an offer I can't refuse on the GM this weekend so I can move forward. Heck, buy the car, then swap engines with your 5-spd car and restore the GM to original and sell it! I would do this but I already have a tt 5-spd 4.5 liter car that is near to flawless. Once I sell the GM, I will be in the market for a 32 valver. Find me a timing belt car to fix....that would be perfect for adding boost to because I'll change the pistons as a first step and I could save a lot buying a car with a broken belt!

My plans for the S4 are rather unique...I can't tell anythign yet because I have more planning to do...I have the plumbing all figured out...but it is a concept right now only. Did I mention I still have to buy a washer/dryer and a dining room table, etc? Turbos or clean clothes...tough decision!

Start thinking guys...16 valve turbo manifolds...I have the jigs and can be ready to supply these but to make it worth the while I would like to do 5 sets as would my fabricator.

You don't want to trade cars with Lag for a day?
Trade rides at least!

...I'm already interested in the 16V stuff John - right now I'm slating for a V-1 install on the 78 because its just too easy and 10psi ( with 10:1 compression) or so with water injection would do the trick. Get some serious numbers and delivery estimates and see who will bite for 5 sets.

I have the numbers....and delivery will be like 4-6 weeks. Let me see after this weekend and I will let you all know. Just be aware, this is not an easy thing to do...making the rest of the setup yourself that is...but the manifolds are the hardest part by far. Anybody could do the plumbing with a little patience and TLC. Your fuel system will be the next most important thing....a good fuel system is a must and if you must only have one good thing about your system, make it the fueling...it can cover for a lot of sins! Stand alone...lots of options and the piping becomes even easier then!
