I was not sure I believed him, except that Jim just had the same thing happen to his 89GT supershark in third gear (spun the tires). See his thread about passing NY emissions.
My dyno guy pointed me to someone else who he says has a better dyno, but the guy is not local and it has not been convenient for me to go see him. Using the "Single Mault" math, otherwise known as Lag-math, the BHP for my setup should be in the 550 hp range.

I realise I'm going to get hatemail, but estimating horsepower is something I've seen many try, and none succeed. No offense intended, YMMV, and may the force be with you

No, (B)rake (H)orse (P)ower.......I expect approx 475 hp at the rear wheels.

I agree that estimates are usually BS. In this case, as you know H, Lag has several examples where he has run his formulas against dyno results, so he seems to have a pretty reasonable handle on the figures. I am not advertising x hp......Adam asked a simple question, I gave him the best answer I have at the moment......Why not go **** in someone else's sandbox, umkay?

You know, judging by how you conduct yourself on this board, and subsequently having to be continually corrected over and over and over on the same topic, and over and over and over AGAIN, it doesn't take too much imagination to figure out why certain events have transpired in your personal life, unfortunately.

You just don't get it!

<--- That's John wondering why everyone seemingly 'picks' on him, and also avoids him at all costs.

BTW, for the 5,280th time, re-read the posts to 'refresh' your memory.

I'm not avoiding John .... I saw his Goldmember at Wichita OCIC, spent some time chatting with him, he let me and everyone else look under the hood, crawl under the front, back and sides, tug on stuff, and such. John answered all my questions I believe very logically and directly. Carl Fausett did the exact same thing. John did something. On his own, he went and made a twin-turbo'ed old bugger. I think this is impressive. Don't get me wrong, I don't know John and haven't spoken with him outside that time at Wichita.

I don't disagree Paul that John has shown a combative side on this board, but then between the three of us, is one worse?

I'm not even going to respond to that Low Blow Paul. If you have something to say to me regarding my divorce (which you now "appear" to be an expert on as well), go ahead and say it to my face in NC this weekend. You can identify the Goldmember by the sound of the turbines, it is hard to miss.

I don't need to re-read anything to recall your comments about the Callaway and how it would "never" make the power I said it would. "Briggs and Stratton" manifolds work pretty well Lag. I came back and hung a dyno sheet, proving my statements were completely technically correct. What could possibly be left open to interpretation? With you Lag, it is clear to see...it goes like this: Blah blah blah, Centrifugal is the only way, blah blah blah, turbos suck, blah blah blah, positive and twin screws suck.

Lag, if I was MURF, I would have fired you as my PR man a long time ago. I'm not saying you don't know anything, but you clearly are not the authority on forced induction of 928s either.

It's okay Lag, lots of guys on here still talk to me and those same guys know bull**** when they hear it.

I went through divorce in the past 2 years, it's no fun. Hang in there John. I'll even buy you a beer at SITM for the troubles you're going through with the divorce, it's the least I think I could do. I'd do that for Paul too if I could identify him

Hi John,
Have fun this weekend ... spin em up!!!! Andy, you going? If so, you two need to hook up...as both of you are "THE" pioneers in the 928 boost game! Everyone who attends, I would seek these two out and chat....they have the best approaches and the most realistic expectations with regards to uable power, reliability and efficiency!
