Sharks in the Park!! Recap
As I first time attendee I was very impressed...Bill did a great job getting everything going!! 26 cars when I counted + a couple late arrivals!! 19 cars on the fun ride....that was impressive! It was great to talk to so many passionate 928ers + the newest member of the 928 family was in attendance (Julie Thomas) Now I am really looking forward to Sharks at the Lake and Devek Days.... I was a little concerned about the fun drive, mostly due to the stories I have heard about off-road adventures...but it wasn't that bad. First impressions were some roads were VERY narrow, with steep drop offs (not very confidence inspiring)...after about 1/2 the group peeled off to head home the pace got better....with Bill leading the way!! The higher speed sweepers were exciting...the burgandy 84 S I was following sounded great!!! My favorite car of the event has to go to the 1981 competition package that had 9587 miles on it!!!! Needless to say it was in excellent shape (comestically at least)!!
Thanks again to Bill for putting on a great event! I'll be back next year!

Well, I don't have any pictures to offer, but can say that it was another great 928 event. 30 cars, lots of nice (and many new) people, and perfect weather.
Can't wait for next year!
PS: Hopefully we'll see some more pictures posted here. George? Dave? Robert?

Thanks for all of your hard work Bill. The event was great as usual!!! Thanks also to sponsors DEVEK and Hooked on Cars for their donations.
I'm glad I helped pick up the pace for you by leaving at the half way point.
We'll see everyone at Sharks at the Lake in June.

Hello all,
Been real busy, so I'm a little slow getting stuff done,
Anyway here are some photos I took:
http://sis125.berkeley.edu/928/2005-sitp/
And if you're really curious, I put a few (3,200) photos up from
the Bonneville 100 at:

Car 4 is Tim's GTS, #171 is Bill's S4, and 103 is my S4.
