Haven't you read all about them? Do a search on "______ POs". Fill in the blank with your favorite expletive.

You should be ashamed of yourself! You're obviously not one of the "initiated." Not a member of the true 928 brotherhood!

You probably don't have any electrical gremlins either! Rookie.

OK ... CMW is missing a key there. Rear console key. And he's missing the serial number stubs too.

I have all those keys if I put all my 928 keys together, but I do not have the rear console key on anything.

I never thought about the "other" keys. I don't have rear console key or a gas cap key. I don't think my car had factory wheel locks...certainly does not have them now and I don't have a key!

So do we have a list of all of them? Any others missing from the list?

Dave A;
I'd love to see a pic of the rear console key...have never seen one before. No idea how to get one of these reproduced without a key, though.

SteveCo

Here ya go. If you had the blank, I'm sure any competent locksmith could take that and your lock and make them work together. Pet shows the latch & key as P/N 928.522.015.02 which 928 Specialists lists for $43. I think I may have yet another key for my front glovebox... or maybe the deal was that I have NO key that fits. I'll check it out and get back to you guys.

Three of us ordered from this company, all keys worked perfectly and it was a fast service, we each ordered seperatley, I ordered Jim's, Eric ordered mine and Jim ordered Erics so the keys don't match the 928 sitting outside the house! if that makes sense??
But the real food for thought is the fact that they CAN cut a key from a photo, so I won't be waving my Porsche key around in public anymore, not that it ever worked- SWINGERS BEWARE!!!!

Bump -

Add my name to the list of satisfied customers. I e-mailed some pics of my one and only master key to Stuart at: sales@keys4classics.com

I had to send him maybe 4-5 different pics until he found the ones that were detailed enough and clearly focused enough.

Within a week and a half, I received two new keys, both of which work just fine.

Stuart was very helpful and responded quickly to every inquiry.

That's great to hear bigs. I sent mine a few times too and he gave me the nod last week. Mine should be here soon. Can you believe it? 3 master and 3 wheel lock keys. I won't have to guard it with my life anymore (or keep that policy with Lords of London )

Amen!

When I first saw this thread some time ago, I glanced at it casually from time to time just out of idle curiosity. Didn't really believe keys could be made from an e-mail pic. Then, when feedback was consistently positive, I figured, "Well, someday maybe I'll give it a try..."

Then...!

A couple weeks ago, I was doing some chores in the garage. Had my one and only ignition key in one hand and was trying to stack a case of windshield washer bottles on a shelf with the other. As I put a bottle up on the shelf, it knocked a bunch of stuff off the shelf which came tumbling down - with me trying desperately to catch everything - you know, doing that 15-item juggling dance with things flying everywhere.

Well, after I cleaned things up and replaced everything, I went over to the shark and checked the oil and other fluids, filled the windshield washer reservoir, did a little cleaning and vacuuming inside, etc.

After it was all spiffed up, I figured I oughta go for a little ride.......................

COULD NOT FIND THE KEY!!!

I looked up and down in the garage - tore the place apart!! Searched all through the car, under the car, under the seats, in the engine compartment, went through all my pockets about 20 times, came inside and re-traced every step I took the whole morning...

COULD NOT FIND THE KEY!!!

I mean, here's a very nice GTS sitting forlornly in my garage, and for the lack of a small piece of metal, it was completely useless.

Well, I finally went back to where I had dumped the stuff off my garage shelf, and moved my big Craftsman tool chest out from the wall and also our big freezer. There, behind the freezer, on the floor was my key where apparently I had inadvertently tossed it in my frenzy to catch everything that was falling.

I walked directly into the house and e-mailed Australia!

Well, I got my cut-from-photograph keys from Keys4Classic about a week ago, but just got a chance to try them today. Both copies of the long ignition key worked perfectly in all locks!

I don't know why, but I just knew they would. I just had confidence based upon my correspondence with Stuart at keys4classics and the package I received from them. All this made me think everything was going to be OK...and it was.

Definitely a great customer experience and now I am not a single key owner any longer! I highly recommend these guys and their amazing service.

Regards,
SteveCo in St. John's
