I've got my first day of driving since the conversion.
This is a list of things done so far:
Replaced bad original engine (it had issues) with a 410 HP (456 lbs trq) Cheney built 383 GM engine (only GM part is the block).
New grey interior dye.
Jager Engineering wood kit and defroster shield.
Momo Steering wheel and Shift kit.
Three Pod Pilar with Vaccum, Oil Pressure, and Water temp.
Extra tach (couldn't get stock tach to work)
General fix of scratches, dents and some touch up respray.
18" wheels and tires.
Kick down toggle under dash.
Reset suspension for lighter engine.
Work to be done at first of year:
Get window washer to work... new 2 1/2" exhaust (to be still quiet)
AVN (Audio Visual Navigation)
A/C to be connected in the spring.
Drives like stock, except a bit more low end torque. Somewhat like stock on accelleration at 60+. When warm weather arrives, will be able to test some more (high today in Minneapolis is 0 degrees).
Question: Where is the fuse on an '87 S4 for the window washer??

1. Be well prepared to take some knocks here.
2. What's wrong with the stock tach? Fixing that would help the interior a lot.
3. Any way to use the cold air intakes? Maybe some sort of airbox?

Nicely done!
I'm not into woodgrain for my shark though..
Nevermind the tough crowd, not a one of them could outrun you!
(me either)
Some of them don't like it cause it was built by Cheney..... sorry, couldn't resist
