Randy V:
I'm not sure who posts with "YMMV" in their sig (I am actually too lazy to setup a sig), but I assure you that I only login as "abduln"... While what I have to say may not be popular (in this thread at least), it's not something I feel I need to say in anonymity, or under the guise of a different persona.
Frankly, I logon and lurk every week, or few weeks, but I have not posted/contributed a great deal to Rennlist. My few other posts were nothing like mine in this thread. I've been rather intense here, in this thread, but not on any of my other posts on other threads (if I recall correctly). I'm generally pretty laid back. I try to be a standup guy, so trying to hide my identity goes against my grain. If I'm afraid to say something and be known for it I just shouldn't say it.
While this thread struck a chord with me, I'm really on Rennlist to enjoy the technical posts on the cars I love... the older Porches. As I finally sink my teeth into my project this spring, I'll hope to have something of technical significance to contribute. I have contributed just a couple of technical bits before, but only a couple of such posts.
Anyway, I'm me![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Relax Abdul.. They were, I believe, referring to a dude named Ed who was a fount of valuable 928 information, concours judge, etc., but a wee tad starchy in his presentation and opinions. He sold his 928 at last, I guess, and moved overseas, I beilieve, anyways he's not around. A real loss because he always helped folks out. Still puzzles me why he'd liquidate the car he loved so much.

Alright I'm back, oh yeah CHIPS AHOY!!! I love the chips in my car it goes so damn fast now, if you don't have them, stay in the slow lane. Will you guys please stop encouraging this Abduln guy to leave threads there like a whole page long, and I can't read the whole thing if I try. Stealing sucks I agree but there are many different tuners making alot of parts that are alot alike, BUT ARE THEY ALL STEALING, SHOULD WE ALL FREAK OUT ABOUT IT!!!!!!! NO...

Wow, scary thread. Dr. Bob... Abduln... thanks for the reasoned, thoughtful statements. It's good to know that folks can be both passionate and intelligent.
