Thanks again for all the compliments.

Yes low miler id Todd Johnson... great transaction... very down to earth and honest dealer.
Very detailed maintenance.

Additionaly I saw Andy K last Thursday... he will be out again this Sunday through Octoberfest.
Since I will have him as my personal mechanic/ installer during that week all I can say is:
The mouse is in the trap, I repeat, the mouse is in the trap.
A twinscrewed GTS should make it's debut...

Well,

Not to be out done by M Spigel's Dyno run the GTS was tested today as well.
Well actually in this case his car does out do mine @ 288 RWHP stock.
But by the end of the week we should see what a X2 Screw will add to that.

Good news! How soon after the installation will you be going back to the dyno? I also am assuming that the GTS is completely stock with an automatic tranny?

That just seems so wrong that Mike's 86 with less than $3,000 of blower bits puts down more power than a GTS .......so wrong !

just my .02, but 288 hp is not right for a GTS. Shouldn't you find what's wrong before sc install? If there are problems, they will have to be found later when there are more unknowns in the mix.

Chris,
It was 283.

928andRC51,
Where are you getting your information from? Chris's car is an automatic.
283rwhp/.80 (standard drivetrain loss for an automatic) =353.75CHP or about 9 more HP than stock.
Even if you used only 17%, a figure more in line with a 5 speed for drivetrain loss it's still 341.

Must be my fuzzy math. I wouldn't argue with you, I just thought GTS' were more like 300 at the wheels. Aren't there S4s and GTs that would be close to that 288 or better- even stock?
You guys are the experts not me.

Well it was raining today in SOCAL. So I guess pretty much anything is possible.
A stock 5 Speed GTS would put about 293 to the wheels.

Hello Garth,
We didn't get started until Friday evening. Some parts were sent to the wrong address. I was at Sharktoberfest most of the day Saturday and we started the car up on Sunday AM. I'll try to update with some pics soon.

LOL, First the whole engine broke into peices, and then it melted. There must have been some sort of mollecular level reaction as there was a mushroom cloud. I fear the GTS has mutated.
